A robot touches the Matrix and becomes Deathbringer, a being whose purpose it is to cleanse a world of life. The Bots run into him and Optimus realizes that he is filled by the power of the Matrix and that they cannot fight him. He talks to him, explaining how the power of the Matrix is slowly killing him and the Deathbringer explodes himself.
